Reiki is a Japanese form of healing and relaxation Therapy that relaxes and revitalizes the client’s mind, body and spirit bringing them into a place of relaxation and healing by releasing energetic blockages, balancing the energy centers, opening meridians, and offering universal life force energy.

Our class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time includes giving  a Reiki treatment, self -treatment and practice using all the Japanese Reiki Techniques mentioned in the objectives below.

What to Expect From a Treatment

During a session, the client stays fully dressed, removing only large pieces of jewelry and shoes. Benefits from a treatment may include Relaxation, Deep Peace, Relief of Discomfort or Pain, and Spiritual Insight.

During a traditional Reiki session, the client lays comfortably on a table while remaining fully clothed.  Practitioners work by placing their hands on the client’s body and in their Human Energy Field. Reiki Practitioners offer the life-supporting Reiki energy through a series of hand placements that correspond to the endocrine system, major organs, and energy centers. While each session is unique to the client and their presenting needs, most report feeling a sense of warmth, coolness or tingling at the site being treated that leaves them feeling peaceful, relaxed and refreshed and with a greater clarity of mind.


Reiki Training I Includes


  1. Two 30 minute phone or Skype calls per course for the attunement and any questions that you may have. These must be received within 90 days of enrollment. 

  2. Access to the online class 90 days

  3. A digital read-only (not print) manual from the International Reiki Center. An optional printed manual may be available based on region and is not included with course tuition.

  4. Class Notes and Handouts

  5. Certificate of Completion


Course Work

Students are asked to:

  • Read the manual
  • Review any handouts
  • Complete the online modules
  • Three hours of hands-on practice


Time Line

The course is a self-paced system of study allowing the student 

  • 90 days access to the online modules 
  • 90 days from the time of enrollment to receive their attunements (each level comes with 2 attunements).
  • 90 days from the time of enrollment to complete all homework.

Reiki Levels

Level I is about the adjustments within your own energy, learning about Reiki and self Reiki Treatments. 

Level II is furthering your knowledge, expanding the strength of Reiki and working with others. To receive this certification, students must complete the following requirements:

Level III students will receive the Reiki Master attunement and symbol to strengthen their Reiki channel. They will be certified as a Reiki Master Practitioner. Following the completion of this certification and after sufficient experience, students will then have the opportunity to train as a Reiki Master Sensei/Teacher. This is typically after a minimum of one year as a practicing Reiki Master Practitioner.

Founder & Teacher

Amy is the founder and an instructor at Spirit School. She is an international energy therapist, past life hypnotherapist and offers angel and aura readings.


She is a light worker, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Certified Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master Teacher, Intuitive, Channel for The Council of Light, and author.

 

She hosts live meditations, group readings and Q&A conversations on Instagram and at Spirit School. She is a channel for the Council of Light and has brought through hours of messages in courses, podcasts and interviews. She has touched the lives and worked with thousands.
